McHale are looking to expand their Research & Development Team to assist with new product developments. As the McHale product range continues to expand, and with many technological advancements planned for new and existing products, we are looking for a R&D Mechanical Engineer to join the Research & Development Department.

KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prototyping and field testing of new products and upgraded functionality on existing products.
• Manufacturing of prototype machines and assemblies.
• 3D component and new product modelling (Creo Parametric).
• Stress analysis (ANSYS).
• Design of test rigs, jigs & fixtures.
• Assist with NPI (New Product Introduction) on the production floor.

KEY  REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent attention to detail and a desire for perfection is crucial.
• A proven ability to innovate and self-motivate.
• A critical thinking and analytical mindset are required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Personal interest in agricultural machinery or experience in the industry.
• Knowledge of PLM systems and Engineering Change Controls.
• Customer focused vision and commercial awareness.
