On May 17th, McHale demonstrated a full range of machinery at the FTMTA Grass & Muck Event held in Gurteen Agricultural College in county Tipperary, it was an extremely busy show with a large crowd in attendance on a day with particularly good weather. FTMTA Grass & Muck is one of the leading industry events showcasing the latest technology & business practices on grassland and muck machinery. The Grass & Muck event is a biennial event organised by Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association. Displaying an impressive collection of machinery, live demonstrations and grass plots, along with timely advice and technical forums, the event had something for every grassland farmer.
McHale demonstrated a wide range of machinery on their plot and attracted large crowds to see the latest offerings from McHale which included the new McHale R62-72 Twin Rotor Centre Delivery Rake. With a some novel features as standard such as hydraulic width adjustment, tine arm cam adjustment and steering axle, the McHale Rake range were well received by on lookers.
The McHale ProGlide Range of mowers were also demonstrated on the plot. The range comprises of the F3100 Front Mower, the R3100 Rear Mower and the B9000 Combination Mower. All come with 3m cutterbars and clever floatation system. Hydraulic Width Adjustment is available as an option on all McHale ProGlide B9000 Combination Mowers.
McHale also had a wide range of Fusion Integrated Baler Wrappers working on the stand along with balers from the McHale F5000 and V6 Range of balers. In terms of wrapping bales, McHale showcased their latest wrapper in the range, the McHale Orbital High Speed Round Bale Wrapper which is capable of applying 4 layers of wrap in 18 seconds and 6 layers of wrap in under 25 seconds. This was very well received by visitors to the demonstration as was the McHale W2020 High Speed Stacking Bale Wrapper. Other machines which were demonstrated on the McHale plot included; the McHale 991 High Speed Round Bale Wrapper, the McHale 991 LBER and the McHale C460 Straw Blower & Silage Feeder.
